Valencian Community youth home purchase grant: the DOGV of 2 November 2026 publishes the call, and the window to apply runs from 3 to 16 November. There is €6,320,000 in total, up to €15,000 per home, and applications are electronic only for 10 working days, that is, from 3 to 16 November 2026.

What changes for you today

If you are under 36 and are buying (or about to buy) your main home in a municipality of up to 10,000 inhabitants in the Valencian Community, you can apply from 3 to 16 November. The October rules were a notice of something to come; now there is a budget, a window and a form. The window is short. The conditions are below, as the call sets them. If you buy outside the Valencian Community or in a larger municipality, nothing changes for you. The requirements and steps, with their exceptions, are in the grant card.

What happened

The Vicepresidencia Primera y Conselleria de Vivienda, Empleo, Juventud e Igualdad signed the call on 20 October 2026 and DOGV number 10484 published it on 2 November. It is the second piece of this grant: the first was the bases reguladoras (the rules), covered in our 6 October news. What is new today is the money (€6,320,000 from the Generalitat's own funds), the window and the link to the electronic procedure.

How it works now

Until 2 November only the rules existed: no window, no budget and no form. To buy a home as a foreigner you still need a NIE (how to get it) and you still pay the purchase taxes (ITP, IVA and AJD). The general guide is buying a home as a foreigner.

What changes

  • Money: €6,320,000 in total. Each home gets up to €15,000, capped at 20 % of the purchase cost; between two buyers it is split by each person's share.
  • Who: adults under 36 with annual income up to 5 times the 2026 IPREM (the official index used to measure income; 5.5 times with a disability of 33 % or more, 6 times with 65 % or more).
  • Non-EU foreigners: legal residence in Spain and a valid NIE. Spanish, EU, EEA and Swiss nationals do not need that condition.
  • Home: up to €250,000, in a municipality or settlement of up to 10,000 inhabitants, bought by two people at most. You must live in it at least 5 years and move in within 3 months of delivery.
  • Contract: signed since 1 January 2026, or you must be able to sign it. With a contract already signed, you attach it when applying; without one, you commit to provide it within 6 months of the publication of the award.
  • Another home: if you already own a home, you must provide documents showing that the home is not available to you.
  • How it is awarded: only the moment your application is complete counts. There are no points for income or personal situation.
  • Compatible with other aid, as long as the total does not exceed the cost of the purchase.

What happens next

  1. The window runs 10 working days from 3 November. Counted that way, the last day is 16 November 2026; confirm the date on the Generalitat e-office.
  2. Each person files one application only; if you file several, the last one counts. If the home has two owners, each files their own.
  3. If something is missing, the administration gives 10 days to complete it and posts the notice in the Generalitat's PROP guide. If you do not complete it, the application is treated as withdrawn, and the order of filing is set by the moment it becomes complete.
  4. The decision arrives within 3 months of the end of the window at most; without it, the application is treated as rejected. It is published in the DOGV, which counts as notification.
  5. Payment is a single bank transfer, once you provide the deed (or the private contract with a guarantee or insurance on the advance payments) showing the grant as part of the price (if you bought before the call and since 1 January 2026, you do not need to change the deed). Afterwards you must prove with the empadronamiento that you moved in within 3 months.

What you can do

  • Check age, legal residence with NIE, income and that the home's municipality has 10,000 inhabitants or fewer, using the conditions in this news and the DOGV text.
  • Have your digital certificate or Cl@ve ready to sign the application (guide); there is no other way to file.
  • Gather the sale contract or deed, if you already have them, and your bank account details. The Conselleria checks identity, tax, Social Security, population register and land registry data if you allow it on the form; if you object, you must provide those certificates yourself.
  • File through the Generalitat e-office procedure named in the call (procedure 113373).
  • Do not count on the grant to close the purchase: the funds can run out before your file is decided.
