The Valencian Community youth home purchase grant rules are out: the DOGV of 6 October 2026 published the rules of a grant of up to 15.000 € to buy a main home in a municipality of up to 10.000 inhabitants. You cannot apply yet, because the call is missing: the text that opens the window and sets the money available.

What happened
The Vicepresidencia Primera y Conselleria de Vivienda, Empleo, Juventud e Igualdad signed on 1 October 2026 a resolution with the bases reguladoras (the rules of the grant, issued before the call). It was published in DOGV number 10466 on 6 October and takes effect the next day. It applies in the Valencian Community the 2026-2030 state housing plan programme that helps young people with limited resources to leave the family home.
How it works now
Today nothing is open under these rules. According to the resolution itself, a regional call for the same group (young people buying a home) already ran in 2025. To buy a home as a foreigner you still need a NIE (how to get it) and you still pay the purchase taxes (ITP, IVA and AJD).
What would change
When the call is published, this is what will be on offer:
- A grant of up to 15.000 € per home, capped at 20 % of the purchase price, in a single payment.
- For people under 36 with income up to 5 times the IPREM (the official index used to measure income), rising to 5,5 or 6 times with a 33 % or 65 % disability.
- Non-EU foreigners: legal residence in Spain and a valid NIE.
- A home of up to 250.000 €, in a municipality of up to 10.000 inhabitants, as the main residence for 5 years.
- Electronic application only, within 10 working days, and granting in order of filing until the funds run out.

What happens next
The next step is the call, which the conselleria will approve and the DOGV will publish with the budget, the IPREM year and the window. There is no date: the text of the rules does not mention one. The procedure page on the Generalitat e-office cited in the rules showed «procedure not found» on 6 October. Once the call is published, the window runs 10 working days. After that, the decision comes within 3 months at most.
What you can do
- Check your requirements with the grant guide: age, residence, income and municipality.
- Keep your digital certificate or Cl@ve at hand (guide), because the window is short and it is granted in order of filing.
- Do not sign anything counting on the grant until the call is out and you have read its text.
