In short: Spain's Directorate-General for Migration Management (DGGM) opened, on 14 August 2026, a call for EUR 500,000 in subsidies for organisations (not individuals) working on the collective recruitment of migrant workers in their country of origin. Application deadline: 20 business days from BOE publication (20/08/2026).

In person or by representative? Not applicable: this is not a personal procedure. Only entities (associations, cooperatives) apply, not individuals.

What it funds (BOE-B-2026-27449): five types of activity — (1) selection processes for foreign workers not resident in Spain; (2) organising and coordinating their hiring and travel; (3) supporting the continuity of seasonal campaigns (e.g. agricultural); (4) socio-labour advisory services for migrant workers hired this way; (5) informational and training sessions on social, cultural and economic topics. Maximum funding per activity ranges from EUR 2,500 to EUR 187,500, depending on the type.

Who can apply: business and trade-union organisations, cooperatives and non-profits meeting the requirements of Orden ISM/676/2022 (the regulating rules), that are not subject to the exclusions of Law 38/2003 on Subsidies.

What this means for you as a migrant: "gestión colectiva de contratación en origen" is a legal channel where employers/organisations in Spain select and hire workers directly in their home country — before they travel — typically for seasonal campaigns. This call does not give money to individuals; it funds the entities that run that process and, once selected, may offer free socio-labour advice to workers hired through this channel. As of this publication it is not yet known which entities will be funded.

Where to check: full record at the National Subsidies Database — call 925527; regulating rules: Orden ISM/676/2022.
