In short: the Colombian mobile consulate in Málaga will serve people from 14 to 16 October 2026 at the Tabacalera building, by free appointment only. The Consulate General of Colombia in Seville lists passport (63 €), powers of attorney, consular registration and other procedures, and payment is by card only.

What changes for you today

Nothing: the regular appointment in Seville works as usual. The steps are in the guide Colombian Consulate in Seville: appointment and extended days. This is a one-off service in Málaga, for people who live there and do not want to travel to Seville. Another nearby mobile consulate: Ibiza, 20-23 October, from the Palma consulate.

What happened

The Consulate General of Colombia in Seville published the notice for the mobile consulate in Málaga on its website. The page shows no publication date; we spotted it on 8 October 2026. It sets these sessions: Wednesday 14 October from 11:00 to 18:30, Thursday 15 from 8:00 to 15:00 and Friday 16 from 8:00 to 12:00. It says people are served at the Tabacalera building (calle Concejal Muñoz Cerván 3, module 3, ground floor, 29004 Málaga) and not to look for a mobile bus: go to that address.

How it works now

People who live in Málaga and need these procedures have to book an appointment at the Seville office (Avenida Molini 2), open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 14:00 by appointment only, according to the notice.

What changes

  • Place: from 14 to 16 October the consulate serves people in Málaga, at Tabacalera, instead of Seville.
  • Appointment: still required and free, but one per procedure. For example, three powers of attorney need three appointments. You book with the form linked in the notice ("Pida su cita para Málaga").
  • Amounts given in the notice: passport 63 €; powers of attorney (signature recognition on a private document), sworn statement of marital status and copy authentication, 18 € each; permission for minors to leave 9 €; in-person payment of apostilles 8 €. Life certificate and civil registrations of events that took place in Spain, free. It gives no amount for consular registration and certifications.
  • Payment: by credit, debit or prepaid card only. Cash is not accepted.
  • What to bring: valid citizenship card (cédula de ciudadanía; the yellow one with holograms or the new format). Powers of attorney are brought printed and unsigned; documents to authenticate, printed. For a minor's exit permission: printed civil registry record, the cédula and clear travel itineraries.
  • What is not done in Málaga: cédulas and identity cards (you must go to Seville with an appointment) and copies of civil registry records for events that took place in Colombia.
  • Only the person with the appointment is served, unless accompanying minors or dependent adults.

What happens next

The mobile consulate runs from 14 to 16 October. If your passport is already ready in Seville, you can ask by email for it to be delivered in Málaga, without an appointment: the email must be sent from the notice date until Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 10:00. The email address is in the notice. If you do not ask in time, you pick it up in person in Seville.

What you can do

  • If you are interested, book as soon as possible with the form in the notice from the Colombian Consulate in Seville, one per procedure.
  • Prepare the printed documents and a card to pay.
  • If you cannot make those dates, use the regular Seville appointment.
