In short: the Colombian consulate in Seville published on 1 October 2026 its agenda for Seville and Huelva, with activities from 8 to 25 October. The Colombian consulate agenda for Seville and Huelva uses sign-up by form, QR or WhatsApp, and some places are limited.
What changes for you today
Nothing in rules or procedures: these are workshops and meetings, not a law. To book an appointment at the consulate, see the guide Colombian Consulate in Seville: appointment and extended days. If you live in Málaga, Fuengirola or Almería, there is another agenda: October activities in Málaga, Fuengirola and Almería.
What happened
On 1 October 2026 the consulate published the October agenda for Seville and Huelva, within the multidisciplinary care project for Andalusia and Extremadura. The text of the notice only says these are social and community initiatives for Colombians of all ages, to strengthen support networks and widen personal and professional opportunities. The activities are on the poster in the notice; it reads as follows (the image is small, so confirm dates, hours and addresses before going):
- 8 October: "Tomemos un café y hablemos de pensiones, carné de conducir y otros trámites" (a coffee chat on pensions, driving licences and other paperwork), in Seville.
- 9 October: NeuroRitmo workshop, "Conecta, Baila, Transforma" (connect, dance, transform), in Seville.
- 10 October: "Sin Miedo al Click" workshop, on not falling for phone scams, in Huelva.
- 11 October: "Hablemos de los derechos de las mujeres", film forum with the film "La fuente de las mujeres", in Seville.
- 12 to 16 October: make-up and braiding course, and job guidance for unemployed people, in Seville.
- 17 October: "Guía para la familia", on public transport and citizen rights, online.
- 18 October: healthy and tourist route, walk and exercises, in Seville.
- 23 October: second NeuroRitmo workshop and the workshop "Expresiones de aquí y allá. Conviviendo como migrante" (living as a migrant), in Seville.
- 24 October: "Sin Miedo al Click" workshop on paperwork in Spain, a "survival kit", in Seville.
- 25 October: "Tejiendo historias de mujeres migrantes, construyendo lazos", crochet class, in Seville.
How it works now
On 29 September the consulate had already published the agendas for Málaga, Fuengirola and Almería, which belong to another project. This is the first Seville and Huelva agenda we have seen, and this notice does not say whether there were activities before October.
What would change
- For people in Seville or Huelva, there are new workshops and meetings near home, from 8 to 25 October.
- Two topics are practical: pensions and driving licences (8 October) and paperwork in Spain (24 October).
- Cost, who runs each workshop and whether people of other nationalities can attend: the notice does not say.
What happens next
The last activity on the poster is 25 October. The notice sets no sign-up deadline and does not say when the November agenda will come out.
What you can do
- Pick the activities on the poster and sign up with the consulate's form, the QR code on the poster or by WhatsApp to the number shown on it and in the notice. Do it early: some places are limited.
- Before going, confirm the date, the time and the exact address, and ask whether there is a cost.
- To book an appointment at the consulate, use the guide linked above.
