In short: the Colombian Consulate in Madrid published its 2026 fees on 29 July 2026: ordinary passport 63 €, executive 126 €, first ID card free. Payment is by card or bank deposit only.
Prices from the official table, in euros:
- Ordinary passport (32 pages): 63 €. Executive passport (48 pages): 126 €.
- Residency certificate for a minor leaving the country (in the table: "Certificado residencia salida del país menor"): 36 €. It is not a general proof of residence.
- Public deed for a name or sex change: 139.91 €.
- First ID card (cédula de ciudadanía), birth, marriage and death registrations, and recognition of a child born outside marriage: free.
How to pay: the consulate accepts only bank cards and deposits into its account. Transfers do not work. There is one account for general procedures and another for migration movements; the numbers are on the official page, so do not copy them from anywhere else.
In person or by representative? It depends on the procedure, and the fee table does not say. For the passport, the consulate's requirements page says you go in person to the office you chose, where your photo is taken, and that adults collect it in person. A minor goes with a parent, their legal representative or a third party with a special power of attorney from both parents. For other procedures, check with the consulate.
