In short: support for the Colombian community in Málaga and Almería is a set of workshops that the Colombian Consulate in Seville runs with local associations: psychosocial support, dance and, in Almería, training for looking for work. The consulate publishes each month's agenda in its press room. There are Google forms to sign up, but they may not cover every workshop: the Almería one has only the dance workshops, not the job courses, and if you do not find the Herencia Colombiana workshops in Fuengirola in the Málaga one, confirm your registration with the association.

In person or by representative? You sign up online (form) or with the association, and the workshops are held in person, in Málaga, Fuengirola or Almería. The notices do not mention representatives: you take part yourself.

What it is. In Málaga it is called Proyecto de Atención Integral a la Comunidad Colombiana de Málaga y alrededores (comprehensive care project for the Colombian community of Málaga and surroundings); in Almería, Proyecto Integral para la colombianidad de Almería capital y el Levante almeriense. The consulate coordinates both. According to its notice of 2 September 2026, the Málaga one is funded by the Colombia Nos Une area of the Colombian foreign ministry (Cancillería), with co-funding from the participating associations. The notice of 3 September 2026 says something similar about the Almería one: it is funded by Colombia Nos Une and co-funded by the associations Almería para Todos and Janguxa Danza. The October forms of both projects still name Colombia Nos Une.

Who runs the workshops.

  • Málaga and Fuengirola: the Asociación Neurona Migrante (psychosocial support, for example on assertiveness and personal autonomy) and the Asociación Herencia Colombiana (dance and tradition, in Fuengirola).
  • Almería: Almería para Todos (training for job placement) and the Asociación Cultural Janguxa Danza (dance and wellbeing for older adults). The notice of 3 September also announced, for September, a workshop for entrepreneurs.

Who it is for. According to the notices, the Colombian community of Málaga and surroundings and that of Almería city and the Levante almeriense (the 3 September notice says so; the October Almería form speaks of Colombians living in the province of Almería). The October Málaga form also invites compatriots who live near Granada. They mention no residence requirements and do not say whether people of another nationality can sign up: ask the organising association, through the contact in the consulate's notice.

What it costs. The September 2026 notices said the activities were free: the Málaga one (2 September) spoke of free activities and the Almería one (3 September) of free workshops. The October notices for Málaga and Almería do not repeat it: check with the association whether there is any charge before you go.

How to sign up. It depends on the workshop, because the Google forms may not include all of them:

  • Neurona Migrante in Málaga: the October form (QR code on the poster or link in the notice) has two pages. The first has the workshops on 7 and 21 October; it asks for email, name, mobile and age, and for you to tick the workshop. The second page could not be checked. The September one was a different form, so use the October one.
  • Herencia Colombiana in Fuengirola (10 and 24 October): if you do not find these workshops in the Málaga form, confirm your registration with the association, through the contact in the consulate's notice.
  • Dance in Almería: the October form includes the five Janguxa Danza workshops (3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 October). It asks for email, name, phone, age, city of residence and workshops.
  • Almería para Todos job courses (7 and 14 October): they are not in the Almería form, which has only the dance ones. Sign up through the contact in the consulate's notice.

On 30 September 2026 both forms were accepting responses.

Where to see the month's agenda. In the consulate's press room. The Málaga agenda for September came out on 2 September 2026, the Almería project was announced on 3 September and the October agendas for Málaga and Almería on 29 September (dates from the consulate's news list). The poster of each October notice has the dates, hours and addresses of the workshops.

Steps:

  1. Open the notice with the month's agenda for Málaga and Fuengirola or the one for Almería and look at the poster: date, time and address of each workshop.
  2. If the workshop is by Neurona Migrante in Málaga or a dance one in Almería, go to the Google form on the poster (QR code or link in the notice), fill in your details and tick the workshop. The Neurona Migrante workshops are on the first page of the Málaga form.
  3. If it is by Herencia Colombiana in Fuengirola, look for it in the Málaga form (the second page could not be checked); if you do not find it, confirm your registration with the association through the contact in the consulate's notice.
  4. If it is an Almería para Todos job course, it is not in the Almería form: confirm your registration through the same contact in the notice.
  5. If you have questions about hours, cost or whether you can join, ask the association that runs the workshop, through the same contact.
  6. The consulate publishes a new agenda each month: go back to the press room to see the next one.
