Social Responsibility Awards 2026 from the Generalitat Valenciana: a competition offering up to €40,000 across eight awards for companies, non-profits and self-employed workers in the Valencian Community. Applications are open until Friday 20 November 2026. It is competitive: awards go to the best entries, not to everyone who meets the requirements.

What changes for you today

Nothing in your paperwork. If you run a company or an organisation, or work as an autónomo (self-employed) with activity in the Valencian Community, and you carried out social responsibility actions in 2025 and 2026, you can apply until 20 November. If you are looking for help to start as an autónomo, see the autónomo registration: these awards are a different thing.

What happened

The Valencian Regional Ministry of Economy, Finance and Public Administration (Conselleria de Economía, Hacienda y Administración Pública) has called the third edition of the Social Responsibility Awards, for 2026. The resolution, signed on 13 October, was published in the DOGV (the Valencian official gazette) on 20 October 2026 (no. 10474), and the application window runs from the next day, 21 October. The Emprenemjunts portal of CEEI Valencia relayed it on 22 October. It is a competitive call: a jury compares the entries and proposes the awards.

What the awards recognise: social responsibility actions or good practices of organisations in the Valencian Community carried out during 2025 and 2026.

How it works now

This is a recognition contest, even though the DOGV lists it under subsidies and grants: it rewards actions already carried out and is not help to get started or to set up a business. No entry is sure to win: you compete against other entries, a minimum score of 50 points is needed, and an award can be left unawarded (in the 2025 edition one was). If you have no activity yet and want support to start on your own, there are separate routes: the autónomo registration and the flat-rate fee for autónomos. Someone who already works as an autónomo can be a candidate.

What changes

  • Who can apply: companies (including cooperatives and social economy entities), organisations, private associations, foundations and other non-profits, and also self-employed workers. All must have a workplace, office or premises in the Valencian Community, or carry out the activity or project of the entry there. The rules do not ask for a particular NIE, residence status or nationality.
  • Two sections, four awards each: Section One (Sección Primera: non-profits and social economy, such as associations, foundations, cooperatives and NGOs, excluding public administrations) and Section Two (Sección Segunda: commercial companies and self-employed workers). In each: first prize €8,000, second €6,000, third €4,000 and fourth €2,000. Each award also comes with a certificate or diploma.
  • Total: 8,000 + 6,000 + 4,000 + 2,000 = €20,000 per section; with two sections, up to €40,000 (the budget ceiling).
  • Core requirement: having carried out social responsibility actions or good practices during 2025 and 2026 (rule five). You cannot take part if you sit on the assessment body.
  • Deadline: one month from the day after publication in the DOGV, that is 21 October to 20 November 2026; the Emprenemjunts page says until 23:59 on Friday 20.

What happens next

The window closes on 20 November, and the application goes online to the Dirección General de Economía through the Generalitat procedure page. To file electronically you need an electronic signature (an ACCV certificate, the electronic DNI or another recognised one); people who are not obliged to deal with the administration electronically can use the route set out for them. Each person or entity may submit only one project: if you submit more, the last one is assessed. Among the documents is a sworn statement that you are up to date with tax and Social Security obligations. The decision is published within three months of 20 October at most; with no express decision by then, applications are treated as rejected.

What you can do

  • Read the rules and call in the DOGV (8 pages, in Spanish) for the scoring criteria and the documents.
  • Decide which section your entry belongs to: Section One if you are a non-profit or social economy entity, Section Two if you are a commercial company or an autónomo.
  • If you plan to apply online, check early that your electronic signature works.
  • Note Friday 20 November as the last day to submit.
  • See other open calls for entrepreneurs in the list of entrepreneur calls.
