Where it can be used. Powers granted at the consulate are meant to have legal effect in Ecuador. If you need one for an authority or institution in Spain or another country, check that authority's requirements.
Steps:
- Check with the institution, lawyer or body in Ecuador where you will use the power which powers it must include.
- Gather the agent's details and a printed copy of their cédula or passport.
- Book one appointment per power in the official Cancillería appointment system.
- Go to the appointment with your original, valid ID and 60 € in cash. If several people are granting the power, all of them attend.
