In short: Free care training in Cádiz: "Cuidar con Futuro" is a 100-hour course with 30 places, organised by the cooperative Coopasistencia and funded by the Diputación de Cádiz (the provincial government). It gives a diploma and access to the cooperative's job pool. The announcement sets no deadline, so ask soon whether places remain.

In person or by representative? It is a blended course: 32 hours in person (8 sessions of 4 hours) and 68 online. You take it yourself.

The Consulate of Colombia in Seville shared the announcement on 15 September 2026 and says the course is run by independent bodies: the consulate only passes on the information. The announcement does not require any particular nationality; the Consulate of Colombia shares it for the Colombian community in its consular district. The form accepts a DNI, NIE or passport as ID.

Who it is for: non-professional carers (for example someone looking after a relative) and people who want to train in long-term care and health and social care. Priority goes to women, unemployed people and residents of Cádiz province. The dossier estimates that about 85 % of the places will go to women, and adds that the profile requires living in the province and committing to finish all 100 hours. The source says nothing about legal status or work permits: if in doubt, ask Coopasistencia.

What it includes: 12 modules, from safe lifting and transfers for the person being cared for and first aid to carers' self-care and rights and jobs in the sector. At the end: an accreditation diploma, psychosocial support and a place in Coopasistencia's job pool. According to the dossier, access is 100 % free for participants. The source mentions no contract, job offer or payment to students.

Timetable (per the dossier): September, recruitment and selection of the 30 students; October and November, classes; December, assessment and diplomas. In-person sessions take place in civic centres, CADE offices of Andalucía Emprende and premises of the Coopasistencia network. The announcement does not say which towns.

How to sign up: with the enrolment form, which asks for contact details, age and municipality of residence in the province. The dossier also mentions referral through Social Services. On 29 September 2026 the form was still accepting responses. Phone, email and website of Coopasistencia: on the consulate page and in the programme dossier (PDF).
