Free coworking for entrepreneurs in Valencia: the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI, a Spanish business school) and València Innovation Capital open the Coworking Tecnologías Duales programme at La Harinera, with about 20 projects and classes from 17 November. It is free, in person and includes mentoring. The call stays open until the places are filled.
What changes for you today
You can ask for a place if you live in the city of Valencia and have an early-stage business project in one of the programme's four technology areas. The call also admits unemployed and inactive people. If your project is another type of business or you live outside the city, this programme is not for you, but you can look at the open calls for entrepreneurs.
What happened
EOI published the call page on its website, with free enrolment. The programme is co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus and the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, and has the support of the Valencia city council through València Innovation Capital.
How it works now
To sell or invoice, your project will need an autónomo or company registration, and that is separate from the coworking: the card registering as a foreign autónomo in the Comunitat Valenciana explains the procedure and the flat rate lowers the monthly contribution in the first year.
What changes
- Space: a workspace at La Harinera, Joan Verdeguer street, 116, in Valencia. The format is in person.
- Training: 60 hours of workshops to validate the business model and 40 hours of mentoring with experts, until you have a business plan. Classes are on Tuesdays from 16:00 to 20:00.
- Calendar: from 17 November to March. At the end there is a Demoday, a public event where the projects are presented.
- Areas: the cognitive domain, defence of critical infrastructure, aeronautics and space, and advanced 5G and 6G networks.
- Cost: free enrolment.
- Foreigners: the requirement on the page is to live in the city of Valencia. To know which document works as proof of residence, use "Solicitar información" on the programme page.
